kann

i'm a developer and ui/ux designer. not the best artist in the world, but i know how to use art to its full potential, which honestly matters more.

i started learning roblox studio trying to get rich. classic. but then i'd get bored of whatever money-chasing project i was working on, pivot to something i actually cared about, realize passion projects don't pay, and loop back to trying to make money. and then repeat. infinitely. lmao.

somehow i'm still here though. if you've got something to build, i'm open.

voices of the void

okay so votv. i am genuinely obsessed with this game. completed the story mode three times. not like "yeah i watched someone play it" - i mean i sat down, did the whole thing, three separate times, because the lore and atmosphere are just that good.

for the uninitiated - voices of the void is a game where you're a researcher alone at a remote signal monitoring station. you're scanning for anomalous radio signals, logging data, doing your job. and slowly, something starts happening. things show up on your cameras. signals come in that shouldn't exist. your equipment behaves wrong. the game never really explains anything directly, it just keeps adding to this feeling that something enormous and incomprehensible is paying attention to you.

the horror isn't jump scares. it's dread. it's waking up at 3am in-game to check your antenna array and noticing that the entity that was outside your window yesterday is now just... gone. and you don't know where it went. and you have to go outside to fix the generator.

the lore goes deep if you look for it. the signals you receive aren't random, a lot of them are actual references to real radio anomalies and SETi history which makes it hit different. the ARG elements that the community has dug up are insane. three playthroughs and i'm still finding things i missed.

10/10 game. MK is cooking something special with it.

hollow knight + silksong

hollow knight is just a really good game. hallownest feels like a real place even though nothing is ever explained to you directly. the pale king stuff and the void lore hit hard when it finally clicks.

silksong came out, liked it. pharloom is its own thing which is good. hornet took some getting used to but the needle combat is fun once it clicks.

also there's a sea of sorrow DLC coming out, ocean themed new areas. looks interesting, keeping an eye on it.

minecraft

pretty much okay at everything... redstone, pvp, building. not a one-trick. but crystal pvp can die. it's the most annoying meta ever invented and i refuse to enjoy it on principle.
